Battle with Gilgy + FF6 Decisive Battle

I love Battle with Gilgamesh. It's one of my favorites, along with the FF6 Decisive Battle.

My current favorite BWG arrangement is the Black Mages version (even though the rest of the album doesn't have my praise), and my current favorite FF6DB arrangement is the one from FF6 Special Medley, I think it's called. Found it on Kazaa.

But I need more :P

The PMM version of BWG just didn't cut it for me--the wacko cymbals/percussion distracted me from the actual tune. And the FF6DB one has gotten old.

My question is--besides the obligatory piano versions, are there any arrangments of these pieces you would suggest?

I met a girl while running for Mayor in 2000. Her name was Sarah. Her favourite FFVI piece was "The Decisive Battle," so we started to arrange it. I uploaded what we did so you can listen. It's incomplete, but has some nice ideas.

Kudos to Mustin, I heard this song some 2 years ago. I remember driving through the country in my pickup with the bass a-thumpin to that arrangement of Decisive Battle. I nearly creamed my pants. NOT FINISHED YOU SAY>? Dude, I'll give you five bucks and get some hot chick to wave at you one of these days. (Probably can't get the hot chick after all :x ) Anyways, Mustin rocks, and anyone who differs WILL be thrown into a detox cell! WRAR!!

I like the BM version of Battle Theme (FFVI), but Decisive Battle rocks too.

Ahhh yes....Mustin and his girls. He always needs a muse to help him out. I forgot about that girl, I'm sure she cries every night for him. *sigh* I can only share you with Coco, Mustin, not Sarah too.

The Black mages version of Battle with Gilgamesh is my favorite track on the album. There's also an 8 bitized version of the Gilga theme floating around somewhere. I think I got it off VGmix back in the day but it might be on OC. I don't know

I prefer FFVI Fierce Battle over either FFV Gilgamesh or FFVI Decisive, although I do like Gilgamesh better than Decisive.
