Gotta say I'm glad this is comin' out because it's a crime that Dale's FF mix hasn't been heard by now. That FF track is so damn good. Inspiring.

No samples? :-?
Screw it, I'll donate anyway. It sounds like an alright deal for $5. Plus I really enjoyed reading that opening paragraph on the page. :)

Diggin' it. Just as I've been toying with the idea of doing an FF Prelude mix myself, I hear this new one... you're right, it's quite good.

I've had a chance to listen to this collection of songs and I love all of them, except the Mario one. To me, it doesn't sound as though it's well thought out stylisitically. It sounds good in parts, but the overall composition sounds like it should have stayed in the think tank a little longer, and the sound effects further tell people, "Hey! This a video game song!!!" I know Go Straight had sound effects toward the end of it and I loved it for that, but in this song, the sounds distract from it too much to be enjoyable.

Guess what? I didn't pay 5 bucks for your Club Gay Music or whatever it is. I downloaded it illegally without paying. You OUS guys can just eat it.
so yeah, Sonic the Hedgehog ftw. four on the floor, "e" glowsticks hooray, and all that.

Sonic isn't 4ot4 - it's Two-Step - the last part of it is with the Dr. Robotnik theme, though. Maybe that's what you're talking about.
He's making a reference to the time when Seifer hacked the OCR boards and created a word filter that replaced words like "and" and "the" with "BOOM HISS BOOM HISS" and "FOUR ON THE FLOUR DANCE 'E' GLOWSTICKS HOORAY"

Yeah, that was the reference. I wasn't talking about the song. The Seifer hacking was kinda funny, but you had to be there.
I did like the Robotnik part in the Sonic track, though. I'm glad that you used the arrangement from Final Hour; it's my favorite arrangement of Final Zone out of the very few that I've heard.

Well, some of the tracks just seem to be the More Than Mario tracks again, but that's OK, because they're still good tracks and listening to the whole CGM from start to finish is great. As for the other tracks, Halo is good, Tron is entertaining, I love the FF mix (nice quote of the FFVII main theme in there) and I think Sonic is just plain friggin' spectacular. So i'm lovin' it.™

One time I almost crashed my car because I was listening to Mario on this.
True story.

I think that makes Mario, your Car, and my Remix, all better at the same time.

Ok, my turn to review.
Ok ... so ... what is with the orchestral instruments? Piano? Where is the raw synth?
I mean, yea, it's different, and it's very stereotypical to use synth or raw sign, square, triangle synthesizer whatever, but then I feel the club game music title is misleading.
I disliked Halo song. It just wasn't warm.
Like the Violin in Zelda...Major props on the drum and base in the song though.
AND Final Fantasy was just super! Loved. I think it was great until the strings came in, and were just too loud and I just, was hoping for once again, some synth, not string samples, and that loud? And whats with the bells?
I liked tron, am not familiar with with the tune but liked the energy. What was with the "it will make you play videogames"? Kinda jumped out, I was like ... "ok, that was random".
Sonic, once again, like it a lot but once again, I was like, eew, strings? I like the 2step style. And why are the stings so loud?
Aah, Club usually emphasizes on the low subs a lot. So when I heard the strings being so loud, I was like "eew, wtf? bring up the bass!". Its not really that big of a deal more or less a personal taste.
I love Super Mario song. It was like perfect.
So neminem from OCR did a mash-up of the Halo track with a Kylie Minogue song for fun. Not bad.

Hate mashups.
The OneUp Mushrooms did the Game Music EP?
Man, I'm so confused.
IS IT REALLY THAT HARD?
Yes.
Also you have to admit it fits pretty well.

He's a member of the friggin scene and gets it wrong? What the hell? And The OneUp Mushrooms haven't existed for HOW many years now?

I didn't even listen to it because a mash up isn't worth my time.

HEY. Don't diss Koji. I will cut you.
I didn't even listen to it because a mash up isn't worth my time.
Oh man, mashups are like my favorite thing ever because it shows how so much music is all alike. Although at the same time, a lot of them use songs that are completely different, and the chord progressions still work together, which is awesome. I like chord changes even more than I like mash-ups. :D Probably why I love jazz.
One of these days I am going to make a cumshot mashup, and everyone will love it except you because you'll never listen to it. MWAHAHAHAHA.
