Ok guys -- this question is for you. It is important 'cause I really want to know. Please answer honestly for my own semi-scientific research. I want to know what kinds of perfumes smell good on women/girls that you would like. I think there is a difference between what girls like on themselves and what the male population likes the most. If you have something in particular you like or dont like - feel free to comment on it.
I personally don't notice my own perfume all day - so I was thinking about switching to something that is actually attractive - as long as I'm not even going to notice.

I am so all about the first one.
And don't change your perfume!! [cries] It smells so good. Mmm... I can smell it now...
I think really strong flower smells are associated with grandma and the weird people she plays bingo with, or sometimes strange people trying to make up for something else - I dunno, hard to explain. There's a lady at my work who smells like 800 dying roses - it almost gags me. Put down the bottle, lady! Wash that stuff off!
It was a toss up between the floral body spray and the citrus, because I do like the fruity smells. But on a whole, stuff like sweatpea, VS's Love Potion, and anything Herbal Essence - I'm down.

I love the natural "clean" smell of women without too much other things cloging up that smell. I choose clean soap because they can't stink, but not to strong of a good smell(I can't stand strong smelling women because of allergies).

I thought about this for a few minutes and realized I don't prefer any one "flavor" over another. Aside from the obvious factors of alcohol content or amount of perfume is compatibility. For me, picking up a sophisticated perfume on an earthy girl is odd...my mind says "wtf" for a moment before moving on.

I'm with Miller on this one, but man, Victoria's Secret's Love Spell smells damn good.
Although, my ex wore cocoa butter lotion all the time and that was nice.
I went with the 1st one, although perfume does smell alright, I know very few girls ironically who wear it.
I never experienced problems in that field, but if only I had told my ex the wonders of breath spray...

i can't stand strong smells, they drive my nose crazy. the first one, def.
Non eis definately the way to go. Perhaps my sense of smell is too sensitive, but personally I think that's for the best.
I love the smell of woman. Clean, fresh from the shower, woman. Or at the end of the day, with just a hint of the acrid twinge of body odor (for, after all, these odors spread out the pheremones that revert us to our monosyllabicly named neadrathal personaes).
Perfumes, lotions, sunscreens, all of them make me turn my head away. I hate the smells and I hate the feeling of these things on my skin.
Cleanliness is the only thing I require.

So long as it's not too heavy, most anything will do . . . although I do have a thing for vanilla . . .

I voted for the Citrus option, but I also like the Spices/Oriental scent and just plain ol' unscented.

My favorite cologne/perfume flavor has to be Eau de Hacker. It's the smell most electronic devices give off before they fry. Mmm, someone needs to bottle that smell.

Edit:
The girl at work who wears Love Spell was there tonite and kindly reminded me that it's called Love Spell, and not Love Potion.
God DAMN I love that shit.
You should check it out, Erin. I like stuff like the way that smells [swoons].

I have no sense of smell unless it's something strong like smoke or humidity. So I guess I'd go with natural, since I'd probably pick up on the weird strong stuff and dislike it. I just prefer natural women generally.

...lavender. My favorite floral scent that a woman can wear is lavender.
Now, I have a question for YOU. What kind of scent/cologne do women like to smell on men?

side note: dude, i could SO go for having a good looking, girly smelling, red haired woman around. Just for the record.

Wouldn't we all. Wouldn't we all.
The red-haired part isn't a necessity, but it would be a plus.

Oh yeah! Definately the floral body spray. The smell can sometimes be intoxicating. Also you have to love the idea of a chick spraying her whole body with a perfume spray after a shower.
Mmmmmmmm...
Ya, body spray rocks!

What do I like?
I dont know how to classify it. I guess I like a rather sweet cologne - unfortunately most cheezy teenager stores at the mall carry that stuff. My personal favorite of the moment is from Hollister - their men's cologne. DAMN! Axe spray is also awesome - just like they say. Sucks that those stupid commercials are kinda right. Things like Abercrombie and Tommy are ok, but very overdone. Don't be someone else. If everyone else wears it - then you shouldn't! Girls use scent as memory - and we don't want you to smell like our ex. K? Yeah. Also - no cool water or old spice. Yuck. I hate musky or sour hints in cologne. Eternity is really good on a slightly older or more mature man - that one makes your head turn.
Also - please wear something unless you have a legit allergy. You don't have to spend even half the time chicks do to get ready each day - so don't be lazy or cheap - get a nice cologne and use it! (lightly - you shouldn't be able to smell yourself all day - if you do it's too strong) I know you're all natural guys - but that may be where you're going a little wrong. You'd be suprised at the power of a sexual scent - it's such an awesome turn on when used correctly.

I generally abhore the smell of perfumes. Makes me gag. Usually I don't put too much stock in how a woman smells just so long as it isn't bad.

I'm all about the fruity stuff. I'm talking to this girl right now and when we were watching Hidalgo (she is really into westerns), I could smell this fruity concoction on her that was intoxicating. It was raspberry and something else and it was heavenly.
On a side note, this is by far the coolest girl I've ever met. Her favorite movie is Poolhall Junkies (w00t), she enjoys most movies in general (she actually asked me to go see Hellboy with her), and she enjoys playing PC games. Now I've just got to find out if she is into console games, and if she is, I'm asking her to marry me on the spot or shoot me then and there to put me out of my misery.
And on second thought, my favorite smell on a girl might change in the next few weeks. My friends have bought a kiddy pool that can hold around 50 gallons and have bought 50 gallons of KY Jelly in bulk. They're throwing a KY Jelly wrestling party at the behest of one of our female friends who, and I quote, thinks "It just sounds cool. It looked cool in Old School." So the smell of KY Jelly on a girl might be my favorite in a few weeks.

IMO, perfume can make or break a girl. If a girl walks by and smells really good, that's when your knees almost give out and you just want her more than anything. However, if a girl buys cheap purfume and bathes in it, you wanna run as far away as possible.
