Remember that little problem OCR had with getting music submissions in? Yeah.. look below:

Anything from anyone popular or typically good at music is usually posted within a week. Sometimes within days or hours.

And they've knocked everyone else's songs down to under two months. It's great to see improvement. :D

That's good to hear. I'm glad they're getting process much smoother. The site is great and has some really good stuff but when half the submissions "fell through the cracks" it was a bit unsettling for the artists.

So that means that McVaffe could burp the Spper Mario Bros. theme and it would be posted? Interesting...

if you talked about it on the OCRemix boards half as much as you do here, I bet they'd vote it down out of spite =p

They did.

I like OCR and all but I've definitely gotten 10x the support for X-strike on VGMix.

i still think that the OC system is flawed by the 'judges' deciding everything. Especially when you have people like protricity doing it.

However, i think that perhaps the place to discuss how OC works is on their boards, because i really don't want to have to deal with morons coming over and registering fake accounts because they get irritated at something someone says.

wow, prot don't get much love...well it don't matter to me. I guess that's a better system than before.

A good music judge system should be like a good band...

They need each judge to play a different instrument. That is, one judge likes classical, another rock, another rap, and so on...

Pickles, they still don't post minorities. even though most are bad, I liked a few.

I agree with af, let's leave any and all discussions about Protricity outside of OUS, huh?

And is every poll from now on going to include a pickled option?

If you mean minorities in the generally understood racial sense, then quit being paranoid. It's the music that we/they judge on, not whether the guy submitting it is black or whatever. Anyway, keep in mind how high the rejection rate is toop - these days sending ANY song to the panel is the same as a rejection (which does show a flaw in the system, but not the kind you're trying to point out).

To be honest, I hate pickles. Don't get me wrong, cucumbers are yummy on a salad or even peeled, but keep the pickles away from me.

With all the rain we've had, I've got cucumbers shooting out my ears.

So...you've got Cucumbears?

That's obviously because it was too close to the original and such...or a drumloop, or something like that.

Don't feel too bad, Joe. They just obviously felt that River City Rap was too good for their site.

a: cucumb-ears is the worst pun ever.

b: seriously. ocr, for ocr discussions. it's not too much to ask.

Yes, I know...I felt so wrong when it popped into my mind, but I couldn't not share it...I'm sorry, everyone...I'm a disgrace to all punners...

Meh, a random response is always the favorite. I know from experience. I use to put Waddle Dedede in all my polls.
