Old people's houses that smell like 'Nilla Waffers.
Those old video stores where they only had Nintendo Games for rent. I'm sure most of you will know exactly what I'm talking about.
A new CD.
Some things I proly shouldn't say on this message board.
Post rain in Spring (which is coming right up after this thunderstorm).
I think it's an interesting topic. Most people's ofalatory memory is far keener than their other senses. Mine definitely are, and I think this is a cool topic.
'Bout to rain - see ya.

I'm with ya on this one - scents are awsome for memory!
Smells I like:
Since I'm a chemistry geek on some days - then it's Methyl Salicylate - or spearmint gum scent.
New car smell has to be awsome - I mean - it's a new car!
Vanilla - 'nuf said.
And last but definately best: MAN. Real, hot sexxiness that only the best guys can radiate - with our without cologne. I dont know if guys feel that way about chicks, but damn, I can walk by some guy I dont know and know their scent - or find it so amazing I have to turn around. Sexxy guy scent also helps me remember my sweetie when I'm not with him - so it's awsome for that.
Oooh - makes me want vanilla baked something or other and a sexxy man sitting next to me in a new car chewing spearmint gum.

HA! Having your cake, eating it too, going back for seconds, and just taking the whole damn thing.

Right before the rain when you know shit is about to throw down.
You can smell it. Its not the after rain (ozone) smell. Its different.
Eucalyptus is awesome smelling.
Lingering peppermint is awesome too
Lavender. perfume based on this drives me insane
Pumpkin.
New speaker smell- when woofers blow air from inside a new speaker.
Pepsi Blue
And the oddest one by far: Diesel exhaust.
Not that I sniff it, it just really really brings me back to growing up in japan. The memories are so vivid when i smell diesel exhaust. I can picture me walking down the street.

I'd better add this one:
Super Industrial Strength Ultra Mega Hold Hair Gel in an economy size tub - hot pink color of course. - ahhh the slicked buns/hairstyles of performing and competing dance - if I dont have that stuff it's just not gonna happen - and the smell is so distinct - it just gets my body going like it knows what's gonna happen next. Ok - that was definately way too girly this time, sorry. The whole exhaust thing just reminded me of it, cause it's really almost that strong.

Well, I just installed an oven in the trunk of my new car, and I'm chewing some import spearamint gum, and some people say that I'm sexy (in their dreams). So, come on down.
I'll cook anything that you want me to cook
I'll swallow anything that you want me to swallow
So come on down, I'll chew on a dog!

Take erin's first post and add pumpkins, new electronics....
and new money fresh from the Fed.
I use to work in a bank and the smell of the crisp bills (doesn't have to be any denomination) is awesome. There's been a rumor going around for years that the Fed add's a type of pheromone to the freshly printed money as to 'cut down on the amount of internal stealing.'
*scratches head*
I dunno about you, but the smell of new money is alluring, so it seems illogical that it would cut down on internal shrink. Personally, I think it's a false rumor, but an interesting one.

I love the smell of a new can of Playdoh. I used to keep one on my desk so I could pop it open and take a whiff every now and then. The blue playdoh is the best, btw.

Mexican food (especially Enchiladas[sp?])
Fresh baked sourdough bread
Grilled steak
