Any Mega Man NES game past Mega Man III is underrated.
Check out the Mega Man V soundtrack. Best music out of the later MM games, in my opinion.
I've been having some ideas lately for a little Mega Man Project. Something like an EP perhaps. I had a chat with my dawg Joe Cam last night and he put some ish into perspective for me. Most of it has been pretty overdone, especially Mega Man 2. I'm wondering if there's anybody out there who's familiar with my style, that could recommend some underrated Mega Man tracks they'd think would go well with this sorta thing.

I've always been fairly partial to Mega Man 6.

Sorry I did the entire Mega Man V soundtrack so that's not applicable.Originally Posted by Walan

Manly.
Hey, nobody has ever done ANYTHING from 2...for gameboy.![]()
Seriously, considering your style I would say probably 3 or X5. X5 has quite a bit of music that could fit very well into your style. I beg of you to do X5, although the more popular side usually resides with 3. X6 might fit nice in your style too, but not too many people like X6.![]()
Werent you working a Megaman 8 remix project previously Mr. Morse?
X2 and MM7 have tracks worthy of your arrangment style

That's awesome. Think we might get a listen soon?Originally Posted by Joshua Morse
I like some of the other ideas being thrown around. MM7 has some decent tracks, and the MM game boy games have been ignored completely.
And as much as I hate to admit it, Cam's got a point. You really had to have played the later games to appreciate the music there.
