The Megas and The OneUps to play at the San Francisco Bay Area Game Jam!

Wild Pockets has teamed up with Crispy Gamer and Microsoft to present the San Francisco Bay Area Game Jam on April 4 and 5 at Microsoft’s Silicon Valley Campus. The Megas and The OneUps will play a special concert for the participants during this free event. The concert starts at 10pm on Saturday April 4th. Doors open to at 9:30pm.

There are a VERY limited number of seats for guests who will not be participating in the Game Jam. We’ve reserved 30 tickets for OneUps fans that aren’t attending the event. All Game Jam participants are guaranteed seats at the concert and must pre-register, attend and participate in the entire Game Jam event.

About the Event
The Bay Area Game Jam is an intensely creative two days where teams of game developers compete to create the best game in 24 hours using the free Wild Pockets game engine. Games will be judged by some of the best in the Industry and the winning team will take home $2,500 cash, XNA Creators Club Premier Memberships, and have their game published, promoted and distributed on Crispy Gamer’s website, which has over 1M unique visitors/month.

Other Activities
The game jam will also feature industry speakers, recruiters from top game companies, tips and tricks for creating and monetizing your games, networking, giveaways, a rock band competition, Xbox 360 Gamers Lounge, free food/drinks and much more!!

Good stuff. I'm about to check out more stuff by The Megas. Also, listening to that clip reminds me how much I want studio recordings of the rest of the old funk set (SMW Castle, Demon Seed, SMB Underground, Zelda Dungeon, etc.). Too much to hope for some of that on the eventual Vol. 3?
